My Teaching Philosophy

I am a strong believer that everyone should be able enjoy and play a musical instrument such as the piano. My fundamental philosophy is that the student learns skills that can be applied beyond the 88 keys.

 A graduate of Western Illinois University, USA with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance, Ken Lim is an accomplished piano teacher, accompanist and a music educator based in Singapore for the past 25 years. 

I offer both private piano  lessons and group theory lessons separated by skill level.
